Our story
iCoffee started in a small kitchen far from home, built by Brazilian coffee lovers living abroad. Coffee was how we stayed connected to where we came from. A place where coffee isn't just a drink, it's part of everyday life.
Mornings begin with it. Conversations happen around it. Families bond over it. Coffee was a way to recreate the feeling of home, even when home was far away.
Like many coffee lovers, we were obsessed with making better coffee at home. We experimented with grind sizes, water temperatures, ratios, and brew times. We scribbled notes on napkins. We trusted our memory and failed.
Some cups were incredible. Most were just fine.
We knew we were close. So we built a simple tool for ourselves. Something that helped us make coffee we felt proud to pour. Proud to drink. Proud to share with friends sitting at our table.
That tool became iCoffee.
What started as a personal coffee diary didn't stay personal for long. Friends wanted to try it. Family saw us using it and asked, "Wait, how did you do that?"
That's when it clicked.
This wasn't just our problem.
People everywhere want to make better coffee at home without wasting beans, time, or money at overpriced cafés. They want something simple, clear, and tasty. Something that helps them brew coffee they're proud to serve to friends, family, or just themselves.
So we turned iCoffee into an app and opened it up to the world.
